Kickass |D Wallpaper now plz. I must point out that his Beast Spirit's name is Vritramon though, at least in the Japanese version, and Agunimon is the English version, while Agnimon is the Japanese.

acutally, if you re-write the japanese in alphabet, you get vuritoramon and agunimon. so i guess the japanese names and english names are teh same XD

Well, if you're being all technical about it, Vritramon's name is actually pronounced buituramon, because the Japanese don't have a "V" sound. V-mon is pronounced "Bui-mon" and in Takuya's 10th anniversary CD song, Secret Rendezvous, he pronounces the word "Randebu." It's kind of like the infamous "L > R" concept.

And Vritramon's English name is Burning Greymon.

But yeah; the idea is that the Digimon's name is Vritramon, spelled that way even if pronounced another, because Vritra was a demon dragon in Indian folklore who held the water of the world captive, which resulted in droughts. And the idea is that the Digimon's name is Agnimon, spelled that way, because Agni was the supreme Hindu god of fire.
So even if the Japanese are forced to pronounce the names another way because their tongue won't let them say it another, it should still be spelled the proper way.

I don't mean to be such a butt-head about it; that's just sort of how it is.
